The Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus (SGMC) was founded in to provide a sense of community and support to gay men in Sacramento during the AIDS epidemic. Over the years, the Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus has grown to become an integral part of Sacramento’s LGBTQ+ and artistic communities through our musical performances and outreach programs.

The concert, "Sing with Pride," is tomorrow, June 5, at the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. Select Venue. The Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus joins with choruses of UC Davis — which include the Concert Choir and the Chamber Singers — to perform the oratorio "Considering Matthew Shepard," which honors and celebrates the life of the LGBTQ+ icon.
