We believe in the value of what is offered when you participate in Big Boy Pride. You must be at least 21 to participate.

To some extent, that is very understandable because people want to come and have fun and we want you to. In the past, we have relied very heavily on a few committed volunteers to keep BBP running. As the event has grown, volunteers have not, unfortunately.

However, the few staff that are onboard have worked so hard that they are exhausted. We hope that all attendees will come with their mind set on those areas. We have received a couple of questions about the cost increase for registration for Big Boy Pride.

ALL registration proceeds go back into the marketing, production, execution and other costs associated with the event. While we were able to negotiate really low rates for the rooms, we will have added costs for sound, lighting, storage, meeting space, and security at a union affiliated hotel.

Furthermore, we are blessed to have so many people that return every year and we strive to take each year to a higher level, incorporating something new and different from previous years.
