Like Like. One gay player! Still, they have an honestly amazing stadium and I would expect them to eventually figure it out and get the win. There are fewer gay players in the league this year than last year, unfortunately. Couple missing. Not only that, Mandy McGlynn, who was previously married to a man, recently hard launched her relationship with Ana Tejada!
It begs the question: Why?. Both wonderful players and queer stunners. Alas, the Reign are pretty terrible. Three gay players makes this team pretty average in terms of queerness. As someone who deeply loves following sports for the storyline, knowing which players are openly gay gives me immense joy.
Notable personal favorites include Jane Campbell, seen in the photo at the right. The Wave failed to make playoffs last year. Yazmeen Ryan is also on the Dash and dating Delanie Sheehan! Most of the team is NWSL vets—they have very few new players compared to other teams—which is a good sign for making a run.
